Remakes have become a thing that Bollywood is fast catching up with. Not only films from different languages are being remade, but also some old classic movies are being recreated.
And while so, contemporary actors get an opportunity to star in their favourite movies in place of their favourite or senior actors. Wishing for a similar situation is Anushka Sharma. The actress reportedly wants Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se’ be remade in contemporary times and that she gets to play the role reprised by Manisha Koirala in the film.
According to reports, the ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ actress loves Manisha’s character and the way she has portrayed the character in the film. On the work front, Anushka is currently working on Aanand L Rai’s ‘Dwarf’ film. It also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles.
