Corruption during previous regime: 17 PRECIFAC handed over to President on Jan.2

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry at 17 State institutions during the Rajapaksa regime is due to hand over the investigation reports to President Maithripala Sirisena on January 2.

Commission Chairman Appeal Court Justice Preethi Padman Surasena will hand over the reports along with the recommendations of the Commission regarding the findings, Commission Secretary M.W. Munidasa said.

Other members of the Commission, High Court Judge Vikum Kaluarachchi, High Court Judge Piyasena Ranasinghe, High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga and former Auditor General P. Pematilleke will also be present.
