Bond report debate on Tuesday

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has issued the notice of convening Parliament to all MPs inviting them to attend the special sitting next Tuesday.

The special sitting of Parliament had been convened at 10.30 am on February 6 by the Speaker on the request of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The debate on the Bond Commission report and PRECIFAC report will commence on Tuesday and possibly be continued on another day after the Local Government Elections as many members had expressed their interest to join in the debate. The two reports of the Presidential Commissions of Inquiry were presented in Parliament on January 23.
