‘Local Government Elections 2018’

'Ballot boxes were transported to polling stations yesterday with Police security in preparation for today’s ‘Local Government Elections 2018’. Here the boxes being transported to Royal College, Colombo, which serves as one of the main counting centers for the polls. Meanwhile, large crowds were seen in Fort yesterday as people waited for buses and trains to return to their home towns and villages to cast their vote.
