About 36 persons who had mosquito breeding grounds in their home gardens were fined Rs.180,000 by Galgamuwa Magistrate L.T. Warusavithana on February 10. The suspects were residents of Galgamuwa electorate in the Kurunegala District. PHIs of Galgamuwa MOH division, Chandana Herath and W.M. Gunaratne nabbed the suspects and prosecuted.
