Renowned author and translator of Osho teachings, journalist and political activist Joe Seneviratne passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness. He was a member of Northern Eastern Provincial Council at its inception.Seneviratne who was actively involved in the Sudu Nelum Movement was attached to our sister paper, Dinamina as a journalist. His remains lie at the Jayaratne funeral parlour while the funeral will take place at the General Cemetery, Borella at 5 p.m today.
