Five suspects arrested with heroin worth Rs. 7 mm

Colombo Crime Division Officers seized 650 grams of heroin worth over Rs. 7 million with five suspects, including a woman from Grandpass in Colombo on Friday night. Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said the other suspects including three men and a woman were arrested at Mahawatte and Wadullawatte in Grandpass along with a three-wheeler and two motorcycles.

He said the suspects will be interrogated under the detention orders after producing them before courts.

The Police Narcotics Bureau and the Colombo Crime Division are investigating.
