Nabbed with knives, drugs

Polgahawela Police arrested a youth who drove ignoring police signals to stop his car, in Kurunegala on Monday.

The police seized two knives, a razor, a mini knife and two poles from his possession. In addition, police dogs were able to discover 2,030 mg of heroin hidden inside the car.

The suspect has been identified as a resident of Mallawapitiya in Kurunegala.
