SLFP to form politburo

The All-Island committees of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party yesterday decided to amend the Party Constitution to establish a politburo.

Badulla district MP Dilan Perera said this politburo will function above the Central Committee and this proposal was approved by the All Island committees of the party at the meeting held in Colombo yesterday night.

The Party will decide the composition of the politburo later, he said.
