The death occurred yesterday (December 6) of Daluwathumulla Gamage Aruna Gamage, He was 59. He was the husband of Anoma Gamage, Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Lake House (ANCL) and father of Miss Kinkini Gamage of Pearson Institute.
Aruna Gamage who earlier functioned as the CEB Electrical Superintendent at Ambalangoda was a past pupil of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda. During his school days he held at the posts of Senior Prefect and Games Captain. His parents were D. M. G. Marnis, a former Principal of Dharmasoka College and Mrs. Wansawathie Marnis a former teacher.
His remains are lying at his residence at No. 5, Patabendigedara Watta, Devata 01, Patabendimulla, Elpitiya Road, Ambalangoda. Funeral takes place at the Ambalangoda Public Cemetery on December 8 at 5 pm.
