Four cannabis chenas raided

The Special Task Force(STF) with the assistance of Thanamalwila Police raided four cannabis chenas in Udawalawa, Hambegamuwa, Unakanda and Oppulivali. But, were unable to arrest anyone.

According to the Police, they had destroyed nearly 8,000 Cannabis plants.

The raid was conducted by a team of Police officers led by S.I. Silva of the Haputale STF camp and S.I. Hapugoda of Thanamalwila Police.
