A discussion on last year’s local government (LG) elections was held at the Addalaichenai Divisional Secretariat Main hall, recently.
Assistant Ampara Elections Commissioner Thilina Wickramarathna, District Election Officer M. Abdullah, and Chief Management Assistant U.L. Ismalebbe participated in the event.
The Assistant Ampara Elections Commissioner’s Office selected 10 individual classes from selected Divisional Secretariat Divisions in the district. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the shortcomings of the elections and make suggestions as to how those issues could be rectified.
