Trap gun kills one

A 62-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after a trap gun laid in his home garden was accidentally discharged at Kolonkadalanda in Ruwalwela on Sunday.

According to the Police, Someone else had set up the trap gun in his garden without his knowledge.

He was cleaning his garden when he met with the accident.

He was rushed to the Dambagalla Hospital where he died. The deceased, K.M. Somapala is a resident of Polgaslanda in Ruwalwela.

The postmortem was to be performed yesterday.

Dambagalla Police are investigating.
