‘Better services for a prosperous country’

President’s Secretary Udaya R. Seneviratne said that all public servants should fulfil their duties this new year with the aim of making President Maithripala Sirisena’s desire to make the country prosperous come true. He was addressing the Presidential Secretariat staff before their commencement of work, yesterday.

Seneviratne extended his warm wishes to all public servants and highlighted the importance of teamwork to face challenges that could occur in future.

The President’s Secretary added that public servants should commit themselves to attending to people’s grievances and attaining their aspirations.

He also requested all public servants to join hands to provide an efficient service to uplift the nation.
