A person walking on the road had been shot at yesterday by two unidentified assailants who had come on a motorcycle.
The incident had taken place around 12.00 noon yesterday in the Selvige Watte in the Foreshore Police area and the two assailants had fled after shooting the victim.
The 37-year-old victim had been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital while the Foreshore Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
