Shantha Bandara to become MP

The MP vacancy created by the resignation of the newly Eastern Province Governor M. L.A.M. Hisbullah will be filled by a SLFP member.

SLFP General Secretary and MP Dayasiri Jayasekera said the vacancy will be filled by Shantha Bandara who is the SLFP Youth Wing President, shortly. The gazette refering to the new appointment is expected to be released today, sources said.
