One of the leading film circuits in Sri Lanka, Movie Producers & Importers Co. Pvt Ltd also know as MPI celebrated the New Year on January 1 morning with its Board of Directors Dr. Arosha Fernando, Sunil T. Fernando, Nimal Kularatne and Tissa Nagodawithana, the staff and the well wishers from the film industry.
“We have achieved our targets for 2018 by transforming MPI to a profitable and a sustainable venture. 2019 is going to be even more challenging for us. This year the local film industry will witness how MPI will transform the industry by taking it to a different height with partnerships developed with local and international alliances,” said Dr. Arosha Fernando.
‘The new Hollywood movie ‘Bumblebee’ by Paramount Pictures in partnership with Skyline and MPI Film Circuit was released on January 4 as MPI’s first release for 2019.
