NWP Chief Secretary Gamini Elangaratne has launched a programme to collect dry rations and clothes for flood-affected people in the Northern Province such as Jaffna Mannar, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya and Kilinochchi.
He requested all the Divisional Secretariats in the NWP to collect dry rations and hand the items to the Kurunegala District Secretariat Disaster Management unit. This centre is open from 8.30 am to 5 pm. The public is requested to hand over the dry rations to the nearest divisional secretariat office.
