Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Minister Rajitha Senarathne said yesterday that work on the new coalition aimed at winning future elections in its final stage.
He further said this broad alliance will have members from the SLFP, SLPP and many other political parties and groups.
Addressing a public gathering after commissioning several development projects valued at Rs.120 million in Panadura, the Minister said all possible measures will be taken to fulfill the people’s aspirations.
“I will use my powers to serve the the public to the fullest. I will be committed not only to establishing a government but also to sustain the government.
We have planned to put forward the best candidate at the forthcoming Presidential election with the aim of obtaining a landslide victory. We will win all future elections and remain in power until 2025,” he added.
