Shooting in Angoda

A 22-year-old individual was killed in a shooting that took place near Bank of Ceylon in Angoda Junction yesterday night.
Police stated that two people who arrived on a motorbike had opened fired and then fled the scene.
The victim was identified as Vishwa Warunaka, a resident of Kelanimulla, Angoda.
The victim who was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo following the shooting has succumbed due to injuries, police said.
Mulleriya Police is conducting further investigations.
