A magnificent unbeaten chanceless 252 runs by former St. Peter’s College first eleven Cricket Captain and Sri Lanka under 19 player Santhush Gunatilake helped St Peter’s College to gain a first innings win over formidable Ananda College, Colombo by a massive 210 runs in their inter school first eleven cricket match worked off at Ananda College Grounds at Colombo.

Santhush had twenty nine hits to the rope and eight over and occupied the crease for 287 minutes and faced 243 balls. Also he was associated in a second wicket partnership of 174 runs with Banuka de Silva who contributed 63 runs and another partnership worth 180 runs for the third wicket with Ranmith Jayasena who scored 80 runs which helped the Peterites to declare at 423 for 3 wickets. Incidentally this is Santhush’s third century in the on going inter school first eleven cricket season and so far he has scored 670 runs in seven matches with two fifties.
