A suspect who had involved in number of organized crimes has been arrested while the suspect was loitering in the Keththarama Road in Maligawatte by the Crime Investigation Division of Colombo.
The suspect was identified as " Mohammed Salmaan Rilwaan " alias "Pappa" 28-year-old individual, a permanent resident of " No: 132/483, Malwatte, Grandpass, Colombo -14.
However at the preliminary police investigations, it was further enlighten that the suspect had directly involved in the shooting incidents related to the murders of two individuals which occurred in Jampata Street in Off shore Police Division on the 8th July 2018.
In addition it was further reported that the suspect had involved in another murder which occured in the 26th August 2018 in Maligawatte Police Division.
While further questioning , it was also revealed that the same suspect had several involvements in number of murders which occurred in areas including Jumma Musjid Road in Maligawatte, Shooting incident which occured on the Parakrama road in Grandpass Police Division.
It was also divulged that two warrants was issued by the Chief Magistrate Courts of Colombo to arrest the suspect with connection to the two cases related to crimes. Further investigations are to be conducted.
