Asymmetric Warfare Course in Trincomalee

The Asymmetric Warfare Course (AWC) 2019, organised by the Navy Special Boat Squadron (SBS), commenced in Trincomalee on January 7.

The opening ceremony was held at the SBS Training School auditorium in the Naval Dockyard, with the participation of Commanding Officer Special Boat Squadron, Commander Thusitha Daminda.

The 12-week long training will enable participants from different countries to get the maximum exposure of SLN’s Asymmetric Warfare experience, during their training period.

Thirty-two military personnel from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Pakistan, the Netherlands and Sri Lanka will participate in the training. The course will end on April 2.
