The National Institute of Exports provides a valuable service to export oriented enterprises by conducting professional courses related to International Trade at the Certificate, Advanced Certificate, and Diploma levels.
Additionally, online courses related to various aspects of International Trade is also conducted by the NIOE, as well as training seminars and workshops focusing especially on SMEs.
The course contents of the professional courses of the NIOE have been developed in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Foundation, which is a State Organization.
Further, these courses are recognized and endorsed by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) through accreditation of the NIOE.
The Jaffna International Trade Fair (JITF) the 10th edition of which will be held from January 25 to 27, 2019 in Jaffna.
JITF is considered to be the largest Trade Fair conducted in the north with numerous brands and services of Sri Lanka displaying their products and services. The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) is partnering with the JITF for the sixth consecutive year. The NCE is the only private sector Chamber which exclusively serves Sri Lankan Exporters. Further, the recognition of the Chamber among the exporter community has grown over the years as the “Voice of the Exporter”, due to its achievements.
As an exclusive partner of the JITF, the NCE has a special feature this year where there will be a Sri Lanka export brands pavilion to promote Sri Lankan Brands.
Further, the NIOE which is a non-profit service organization and an affiliate of the NCE is in discussion with the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yalpanam in Jaffna to promote the International Trade Management Courses and other training programs conducted by the NIOE.
Further, the NIOE will enter into a MoU with the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yalpanam in Jaffna for this purpose.
The NIOE will also promote the services offered and create awareness among participants at the JITF stall no 161 at the Education Pavilion during January 25 to 27, 2019, regarding International Trade Management and warmly welcome whoever interested parties to gain benefits.
