Patricide in Ambalantota

A 65-year-old father of four was allegedly killed by one of his son hitting the former's head with a flower pot on Friday night, Ambalantota police said.

The deceased was R.Chandrasiri of Arawanamulla, Beragama.

The drunken suspect had quarrelled with his parents and hit the father with the flower pot, police investigations revealed. The suspect had fled the area and investigations are continuing, police said.
