Held with six trap guns

A suspect who had six illegal trap guns in his possession was arrested by Meegahthenna Police recently. Police also seized 60 grams and 135 milligrams of ammunition at the time of arrest. The guns were locally made. The suspect was identified as Padmasiri Ranasinghe (50), a resident of Polgampola in Kuruwita.

He was to be produced before the Magistrate's Court in Matugama by Meegahathenna Police.
