Lalitha Kala concert on February 10

A rare musical concert to pay tribute to legendary singers P L A Somapala and Chitra titled ‘Lalitha Kala’ will be staged on February 10 at 7 pm at the BMICH . The two hour long concert will feature their son Chitral who will perform the very best of his parents songs. He will also perform a selection of his most popular songs with an acoustic flavour.

Chitral will be supported by one of Sri Lanka`s finest female singers Umara . Music will be by Mahinda Bandara and his orchestra. This will be a concert presented in a different manner with a lot of interaction with the audience said the organizer of the show Damayantha Kuruppu. Being his maiden solo concert Chitral is determined to make this a memorable show.
