The proposal to implement the national action plan to eradicate bribery and corruption from this year upto 2023 has received cabinet approval.
The proposal was made by President Maithripala Sirisena considering the need for a national plan to eradicate bribery and corruption applicable to all state and other institutions.
The proposal was formulated after considering views and ideas expressed by all relevant parties.
