Honorary Consul in Tanzania appointed

The High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Kenya, Sunil de Silva handed over the Commission of Appointment to Hiran Kaushalya Hapuarachchi Sumanaweera, as the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka to Tanzania on February 4.

Sumanaweera is a Tanzanian national of Sri Lankan origin and is the Managing Director of AG Group of Companies (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda , Zambia and Mauritius). He is also the Chairman and Founder of the Tanzania - Sri Lanka Business Council and a Board Member of the International School of Tanganyika. He has obtained his B.Engineering from Imperial College, University of London and a MSc.from the University of Greenwich, London. Sumanaweera could be contacted on email- [email protected].
