Drug lord Shanuka Madushanka held

Drug lord Shanuka Madushanka alias ‘Olu Mara’ and 11 of his henchman were arrested by police at his residence in Wennappuwa on Saturday night.

The arrest was made by Wennappuwa Police on a tip-off. Heroin weighing 2 grams and 200 milligrams in the possession of the main suspect at the time of arrest was also seized by police.

All suspects were to be produced before the Marawila Magistrate by Wennappuwa Police.
