Rs. 160 million for Batticaloa

Rs. 160 million has been allocated by the government for development work in Batticaloa and projects are progressing.

The funds were allocated by the National Integration, Official Languages, Social Progress and Hindu Religious Affairs Ministry. Minister Mano Ganesan, addressing the meeting called regarding the progress of the projects, said restrictions on financial allocations for development work will be removed and funds will be spent for work soon. A language training centre will also be set up in Batticaloa.
