Maha Sangha inspect Central Expressway progress

A delegation of the Maha Sangha undertook an inspection tour of the construction work on the second stage of the Central Expressway from Mirigama to Kurunegala, at the invitation of Public Enterprise, Kandyan Heritage and Kandy Development Minister Lakshman Kiriella on Monday. Ven. Anamaduwe Dhammadassi Anunayake Thera and Ven. Medagama Dhammananda Thera of the Asgiriya Chapter, Ven. Niyangoda Vijithasiri Anunayake Thera and Ven. Dimbulkumbure Wimaladhamma Anunayake Thera of the Malwatte Chapter, Minister Kiriella, State Ministers Ranjan Ramanayake, J. C. Alawathuwala and Ashok Abeysinghe, Parliamentarians Velukumar and Mayantha Dissanayake, and Road Development Authority officials joined the tour which began from the Gettuwana Junction in Kurunegala.
