A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed after being knocked down by a tipper at Naigala in the Weeraketiya Police Division on Friday. The deceased was identified as B. G. Piyal of Pamburawa Walasmulla. The driver of the tipper was taken into custody by the Weeraketiya Police.
