Hamshika shines

K. Hamshika, a student of the Puttalam Seguvantheevu Shree Murugan School, has won the 2nd place in the national level Hand Writing Competition.

She has won the first place in the competition in district level earlier. The Department of Hindu Religion and Culture held the competition.

Hamshika is the daughter of Seguvantheevu Gopal and Pushparani. She is the first student of the school to win a national award.

She was appreciated in a ceremony’ held at the New Kathiresan Hall, Colombo by National Integrity, Official Languages, Social Empowerment and Hindu Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Mano Ganesan recently.
