CCD OIC transferred

Colombo Crimes Division OIC, Chief Inspector Neville de Silva has been transferred to Police Headquarters with immediate effect.

The IGP has ordered the transfer citing service requirements.Chief Inspector Janaka Kumara has been appointed as the acting OIC.Janaka Kumara was the Mirihana Police Special Crime Operations Unit OIC earlier.This transfer has been done without National Police Commission approval. A senior Police Officer said NPC approval for the transfer will be sought shortly.
