CINEC Campus offers four Management (special) degrees under the government’s interest free loan scheme.
Those who are interested in pursuing higher studies but unable to afford the expenses, can now have a sigh of relief and obtain a BMgt. (Hons.) degree at CINEC in Retail Marketing and Branding, Supply Chain Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management or BSc. (Hons) in Logistics and Transport.
CINEC revolves around three key pillars, knowledge, skill and confidence and is famous for highly employable and affordable government approved degrees in Sri Lanka. They have recently obtained approval from the Ministry of Higher Education of Sri Lanka and UGC for three new undergraduate degrees.
The Government’s Interest Free Loan Scheme is open for students who have obtained minimum qualifications for university entrance at the G.C.E A/L examination held in the year 2017 (obtained 3 passes in A/L examination) in one and the same sitting and not exceeding three sittings and minimum of 30 marks for the common general test, yet did not get a chance for entering into a State University, to follow a degree course at Non-State Degree Awarding Institutes accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education. Action will be taken to provide an easy procedure to repay this loan, which is granted to follow degree courses designed for local & international job market opportunities, through relevant banks.
Dr. Lalith Edirisinghe Dean, Faculty of Management Humanities and Social Sciences at CINEC says there is a foundation course at CINEC for students who do not have A/L qualifications but 5 Credits including Mathematics, Science and English in their G.C.E. (O/L) . “
