Five nabbed with Kerala cannabis

The Divisional Law Enforcement Unit in Kalutara took five suspects into custody with 24 kilogrammes of Kerala cannabis during two raids conducted in the Dharga and Aluthgama towns on Sunday afternoon.

The suspects are between 23 and 47, and residents of Kalutara-South and the Dharga town.

They were to be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate’s Courts yesterday.

Aluthgama Police are investigating.
