Public building idling

A public building had been abandoned for a long time at Ududaha in the Minipe Pradeshiya Sabha area of Ududumbara.

It was once used by drivers attached to the Department of Irrigation. It can be renovated as an official residence for a government worker, residents said. The place is located near Minipe-Hasalaka and Mahiyanganaya.

The property can be used in other ways, too, residents added.

They urge authorities in the Minipe Yoda Ela Irrigation Development Zone to draw attention to the matter.
