The 12 year drought comes to an end for Thomians at the 140th ‘Battle of the Blues’

S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia regained the prestigious D S Senanayake Memorial Shield at the 140th Battle of the Blues, powered by Dialog. The school by the sea brought much-awaited closure to a 12 year drought by beating the boys from Reid Avenue by 7 wickets. S. Thomas’ College skipper, Sithara Hapuhinna receives the Senanayake Memorial Challenge Shield from B.A. Abeyrathna, Principal of Royal College, Rev. Marc Billimoria, Warden, S. Thoams’ College and Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya, Corporate Executive Vice President & Regional Chief Executive - South Asia at Axiata Group BhD and Director Dialog Axiata PLC.
