Colombo lpi up 18%

Land Price Index (LPI) for Colombo District, compiled by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), reached 125.9 during the second half of 2018, recording an increase of 18% compared to the second half of 2017.

The most recent data is Q4- 2018. The data shows that house prices had on average increased by 18% over the last year. The average price of an apartment has not changed over the period. Commercial building space has on average increased by 11% while residential land has risen by 15% over the year.
