Attorney admits to guilt

Attorney Nagananda Kodithuwakku has accepted before the Supreme Court his guilt in acting in a manner to tarnish the good name of Justice Vijitha Malalgoda yesterday.

The Supreme Court ordered him to be present in court on March 18 for further consideration when the case against him was taken up for hearing yesterday.

The case was taken up before the three member Bench comprising Chief Justice Nalin Perera Justice Prasanna Jayawardene and Justice Sisira de Abrew.

Solicitor General Dappula de Livera PC appeared for the prosecution.
