The Animal Welfare and Protection Association will hold a fund raising Jumble Sale on Saturday, March 30 from 10am to 1pm at Mathew Hall, St Michael and All Angels Church, Polwatte Colombo 3. These funds will be utilized for the work of the AWPA.
The AWPA is a registered Voluntary Service Organization in Sri Lanka, committed to the caring of stray abandoned and abused dogs and cats. One of the primary goals of the AWPA is to find responsible kind homes for these dogs and cats and to reduce the population of unwanted pups and kittens by sterilization of the female and neutering of the male.
Donations are needed to make this fund raiser a success. You could assist by sending any clean, usable items- clothes, sheets, children’s clothing and toys, household items, ornaments, books etc, to:
