Colombo University to offer online learning

The Economic Science Department of the Colombo University will introduce online learning in collaboration with Mobitel Limited from April 2.

Local and foreign students who follow diploma and postgraduate courses in tourism, economic science, and hotel management at Colombo University will benefit from the online learning or ‘M-learning’ facility. Online learning will enable students to follow their courses from office or home.

The university has started this online learning facility considering the practical difficulties students face in attending classes and also considering the manpower shortage in the hotel sector.
