No plans to form a National Government again, said former Minister Mahinda Amaraweera addressing a Media Conference at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI) in Colombo yesterday.
The media conference was conveyed for the launch of new website “www.mahindaamaraweera.lk,a platform for the public to send in their views, opinions, criticisms,suggestions and complaints.
“While inaugurating the new people oriented web site, he stressed that it was a non political platform and pointed out, “this is for a Change” – “Wenasakata”: but it does not mean it is for a political party change but strictly for a political change,” Amaraweera said.
Making reference to the Sinhala Tamil New Year celebrations this year, he said, they plan to distribute one million plants as a part of the new year celebrations.
