Outstation Origin beat Colombo Origin 24-12

Outstation Origins led by Roshan Weeraratne beat Colombo Origin led by Omalka Gunaratne by 24 points (4 tries, 2 conversions) to 12 (2 tries, 1 conversion) in their fundraiser game played for former CH and FC, Sri Lanka national rugby captain, former chairman of the national rugby selection committee Chandrishan Perera at Havelock Park under floodlights yesterday. At half time Outstation led 19-nil.

Outstation Origins’ four tries were scored by winger.

Reeza Rafaideen, scrum-half cum captain Roshan Weeraratne, centre Kavindu Perera and hooker Uchitha Jayasuriya. The two conversions were put over by fly-half Samuel Maduwantha and full back Thilina Wijesinghe.

Colombo Origins’ two tries were scored by hooker Prasath Madushan and winger Sachith Silva with Reeza Mubarak slotting in the conversion. Referee: Hasantha Weranga
