SDA holds avurudu fair

The Samurdhi Development Authority (SDA); in collaboration with small-scale enterprises, women’s development organisations and other social service units; organised a fair for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year (avurudu) at the Matale Bernard Aluvihare stadium on April 10. The fair will end today. Over 100 stalls have been set up with handicrafts and other creations made by women.

State Agriculture Minister Wasantha Aluwihare inaugurated the event.
