US Ambassador in Colombo Alaina Teplitz yesterday said national security can be strengthened by sharing intelligence with regard to terrorism related activities among friendly countries.

The US envoy called on Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa at the latter’s official residence in Wijerama on Thursday.
