SLFP Parliamentarians Dilan Perera, Thilanga Sumathipala and S.B. Dissanayake will lodge several complaints today against former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen with the special committee set up at Police Headquarters.
They plan to present 25 complaints against Minister Bathiudeen under three different categories, MP S.B. Dissanayake said.
He disclosed this while speaking to the media along with MP Dilan Perera in Colombo yesterday.
He said the Muslim Ministers who had no complaints against them should not have resigned from the government and their resignation from their posts at this moment made a division among the communities.
They also appreciated the statement of the Chief Prelates of three Nikayas requesting the reappointment of those MPs as Ministers.
