SLFP expels former MP Vijith, several others

The SLFP Central Committee has decided to expel former MP Vijith Wijithamuni Zoysa and several local government members, a party spokesman said.

The SLFP CC had made the decision to expel the members yesterday after it received reports of disciplinary inquiries iniated against them. The SLFP CC which met yesterday also discussed about the upcoming election and the situation which has arisen in the country due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
