The Railway Department has decided to resume Badulla to Fort train services that were temporarily suspended.
Issuing a press release, the Deputy General Manager of Railways V. S. Polwaththa said
Train 1001 plying daily from Fort to Badulla at 6:45 a.m will be operated from October 8 and train 1002 conducting the return journey daily at 8a.m. will be operated from October 9.
The reservation of seats for the above mentioned trains will be carried out by the Department of Railways.
